Looking for original firmware for A95X S905X or to run an apk other than Kodi

    Hi, I just found an old A95X with Amlogic S905X which I haven't used for a few years. I have LibreElec 8.0.2d with Kodi 17.4 installed on it, in the internal memory.

    I'd like to use this box just to run one specific android apk (TV streaming app). I guess I can't run an apk other than Kodi on that system? If so, where can I find an original firmware files?

    All source code for our Amlogic releases is in our public GitHub repo, but that's not going to help you with running an Android apk file as we do not (and never have) supported that. TL/DR: The only OS that supports Android .apk files is Android.
