I would like to say with this post kind of thank you to the libreelec community.
Many people for sure don't have spend days over days in searching the best DVB device to use for multimedia and complete general purpose (listening to analog and digital radio, watch tv, ...).
After many days of searching and after getting the device, testing and using it, i would like to recommend the probably most wide functionality and freedom(free, OpenSource software) supported DVB USB adapter.
Its based on the RTL2832P (not RTL2832U) Realtek chip. Thanks to this chip, you get a SDR ( Software Defined Radio ) on top. You can check with the rtl433 software the temperature your outdoor thermometer is sending to your home receiver, you can diagnose the pressure of many modern car and truck tires, but you can also do many other general multimedia things.
For example:
Listen to Analog FM radio
Listen to Digital DAB radio
Watch HD cable television (DVB-C)
Watch terrestrial television (DVB-T)
Watch HD terrestrial television (DVB-T2)
And much more thanks to SDR
And the device just cost about 20$ with worldwide shipping.
Its already supported in the linux kernel.
It does not need closed source binary firmware files to be loaded.
The only single thing you could be missing is DVB-S/DVB-S2 (satellite TV). Everything else most people use is supported.
Some additional information:
The demodulator build in this device is the Sony CXD2837ER. The RTL2832P has 2 PID filter paths. One for the internal demod and one for a possible external one.
