Tvheadend 4.2 and pipe stream

    Folks,

    Is it possible with tvheadend 4.2 to pipe a stream while at the same time transcoding it?

    I've tried setting vcodec to libx264 but the mux always fails to scan. If i leave vcodec as copy it always works.

    Reason i want to try this is, is that i have a stream that works fine with vlc but kodi pvr has special buffer certains (wellit did from i what have read) and the stream always buffers after a while. So just wondering would transcoding the stream to a lower resolution and bitrate sort the buffer issue.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    afaik pipe dosn't work because we have no ffmpeg package - also for 99% there is no usecase for this
    You can use IPTV Automatich network to do this kind of pipe (+transcoding) - but idk if this work.
