Beelink MiniMXIII (S905) - Build 7.02.009 - 1080p playback zoomed

When a I play a 1080p mkv it showed zoomed top left on the TV screen. I can only watch about half of the image.
I have not encounter this with the previous build.

I don't have the problem with 720p mkv or lower resolution, only on 1080p. I have tested about 20 different 1080p mkv I have always observed the issue.

I have a Beelink MiniMXIII connected directly through HDMI to a SONY TV BRAVIA KDL-50W805B. I also have an Samsung home cinema connected to the TV on HDMI.
I'm using the gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_RealtekWiFi.dtb and I did a clean install (boot from sd card)

For this bug report purpose I played the sample taken from the samples Samples - Official Kodi Wiki
12. MPEG2 1080i/29.970 (U.S. ATSC OTA capture, muxed into MKV w/DD5.1 audio)

I can visualize this on the tv

Try setting the resolution to 1080p60 in android settings manually. I had the same problem when I set the resolution to 720p50 in android to test a 3D game.

Well I don't use android at, I boot to libreelec on a SD card

The VLC screen was taken from my computer for verification purpose

With the video OSD go to the video settings (the film reel looking icon in the first screens hot) and change the view mode

I know. But try it anyway - with my wetek hub this fixed exactly your problem when I rebooted into libreelec after the resolution change.

Ronflex Thank you for posting logs and detailed bug report. I will try to reproduce your issue.

Can you enable debugging in Kodi and collect the log again? This will help a bit more. Thanks.

Can you also try 7.0.2.008?

Excellent advice it works, I have no longer the issue when playing 1080p videos.

I would never have thought of trying that.

No, it can't. It should work regardless of screen resolution set in Android. Please tell me whether the issue was also present in 7.0.2.008?

I saw the bug on my wetek hub on version 009-devel (with the Android M development release installed, if that matters) which is why I advised checking the resolution in Android.

I never changed the resolution in Android before, so I cannot say if the bug was present in earlier versions. I can install 008 and check on the weekend.

mmpp Thank you but I have taken a look at the logs and I think the issue was present in 7.0.2.008. I will try to fix it for the next build, even if there is a workaround for it.

The issue is only present on build 7.02.009, when playing the sample en 7.02.008 the screen resolution is correct.

Checking the problem with android would be a great idea if you can so you can test it and this bug can also be removed if company release new version.
