LibreElec on RaspberryPi 2 - Kodi not starting - no Video output

    Hi All,

    I am new to this forum but been using libre elec for a while now on Rpi2

    I was up to last week running kodi 18 - I took the plunge and did a manual in place upgrade (not clean install) to latest version via the kodi interface.

    All seemed to go ok and even got Amazon Prime and Netflix working after reinstalling add ons.

    If I initiate a reboot command via ssh the pi restarts and kodi comes on (I get video out).

    Anyone have any ideas why it doesnt start first time with the pi?

    Ah - possibly not - I have a trip switch that use to turn the lot on and off with..

    I did wonder was it something to do with HDMI output not being detected. I will do a test with the tv on and power on the pi then.

    Is this a new setting on kodi 19 / libreelec 10?

    I checked by unplugging the pi before switching on power, let the tv come on and then plugged in the pi = this worked!

    It also works if the tv is just on standby.

    Is there a way to disable this "wait for tv" setting that stops kodi powering on?

    Hi Hias,

    I ran that command and its back working the way it was before upgrade (turn on power - tv comes onto standby mode - then kodi must wake tv and tv / kodi come on.
