Hello Forum,
I tried a lot the last days and spent a lot of time on reading in forums and google for answers. Nothing helped. Maybe, you could give me a hint.
The problem: Kodi 19.3 Matrix won't show up on my Raspi 4 connected to a Telefunken TV.
What I have tried so far:
- another Raspi 4
- another HDMI Cable
- another, stronger power source
- modifications in http://config.txt/distroconfig.txt
- core_freq=550
- hdmi_safe=1
- hdmi_group=1 or 2
- various hdmi_modes from each group
I thought, that the Raspi and TV would not work together. But if I insert a SD-Card with Raspberry Pi OS with Desktop into the same Raspberry, it boots up and shows a picture on this Telefunken TV.
Also I tried to use Kodi Matrix 19.3 via OSMC on a Raspi 3B+ and connected it to the same TV: everything worked fine
An older Libreelec-Version with Kodi 18.x worked also on the same Raspi4-Setup
But if I use the combination Kodi 19.3 with this TV Setup, the TV shows a "no signal" Text.
The fact, that the Raspberry Pi OS Desktop is shown on the same setup indicates for me, that there must be a "hidden" option in Kodi or Libreelec?
The Splash Screen from OSMC is visible during boot, the Libreelec logo not.
Here are the specifications of my TV: Telefunken Germany
As you could see, the TV is capable of FullHD (1080p) at a maximum of 100 Hz
Any suggestions from the community here? Anything, that I could try out?
