Hey guys. Fighting my setup to get 4k working on my rig.
Ive got an RPi 4 (this is an 8GB model, not that it much matters), running LE 10.0.0. Ive run getedid and set the command line to "VIDEO=HDMI-A-1:3840x2160M@30D" (trying to keep it as simple as possible for the now)
Ive got a Sharp Aquos 70 inch 4k
and a Vizio 3651-F (specifically because it can do 4k... supposedly)
The RPi is capable of doing 4k when plugged directly into the TV on HDMI3
However, when connected to the soundbar and soundbar to TV (ARC, HDMI1) best i can get is 1080, 4k isnt even an option to enable on the whitelist...
Any suggestions are appreciated (throw away the soundbar isnt a legit suggestion but probably the best one that could be made as im assuming it is the base of all my frustration)
Is there a way to actually force the pi into pushing a 4k signal regardless of what the rest is capable of?
(Edit: one of the BIG reasons for passing through soundbar is to maintain the CEC control so the wife only needs to use 1 remote)
