Install libreELEC via cd on pentium 4 pc HELP

    hello everyone.

    I am trying to install libre elec on my old dell dimension 3000 to use it as a media center pc. it workes fine under windows xp but I want to switch it up and try and to commit to foss.

    it has a pentium 4 and 1.5 gigs of ram.

    Unfortunately it cannot boot from usbs and when I flashed a x86 image to a cd it did not want to boot turning my tvscreen black ans the signal cutting out...

    any ides on how to fix this or is this just the way it is...

    It is basically much too old, the drivers from this area are not too good and basic things to bring multimedia playback are basically missing.
