LE10 won't boot without ethernet cable

I had "wait for network" ticked in

LibreElec Configuration > Network.

I unticked it, but libreelec still hangs at the boot screen until I connect an ethernet cable. I should also mention that wireguard is configured.

I would like to be able to boot my pi 4 with le10 without being connected to a network. Any idea what might be causing this boot hang?

Are you also using a remote MySQL/MariaDB database connection? Other than that, try disabling Wireguard temporarily.

That did it.

"systemctl disable wireguard" boots fine without network.

If you tolerate possible not working wireguard interface remove time-sync.target from wireguard.service.

Increase the "Wait for network" value for a reliable wireguard connection.
