Displaying boot messages in LibreElec 10

  • Hi.

I just upgraded to LibreElec 10 and one thing I noticed is that there are no longer any messages displayed during startup and instead I just get the LibreElec logo. I have never been a fan of the trend to hide probably important boot-up-information in favour of a "pretty" logo. I don't see any advantages but probably a lot of disadvanteges if something goes wrong during boot and you can't see where the system is stuck. So i'd like to get rid of the splashscreen and see the boot-up messages again. How can I achieve this?

  • LE is useing the quiet kernel parameter by default. If you did not have removed it before to see the messages, systemd was starting logging because of a seen error.
