I have two installs using the same Maria DB server. Does LE10 make any changes to the DB?
I would like to test LE10 on one if my installs but if it changes the DB then it would affect the other install as well.
LE10 > are there any DB changes from v9?

No. A database upgrade means keeping the old database untouched, while implementing all changes into a new database.
If there is a new database, you will notice a newer sequence number.
