Status of libnsl ?

Hi,

I'm trying to migrate nfs-tools, which need tcp-wrappers. I created packages for both and build of tcp-wrappers fails with cannot find -lnsl.

A quick grep of lnsl shows libnsl.h at glibc-2.32/nis and libnsl-2.31.so at gcc for aarch64 and as libnsl.so at glibc

So is libnsl only available for aarch64 architecture?

Should I create a package for libnsl too?

or is it part of glibc and could be published?

nfs-utils is already some years old, so I wonder, why it didn't made it into official master?

Well, that was the first I searched for.

With nfs-support in kernel I wanted to go for nfs-server. Therefore I started with nfs-utils.

But I didn't know, that nfs-server works without all the tools like rpcbind, portmap, ...

So I'll try, whether I get your package compiled and working.

Would be nice, to have a kodi addon, which allows modification of /etc/exports - but I don't know how to do that.

That package seems to be a bit bigger. So I'd like to give it a try.

Comparing your changes with linux kernel of libreElec shows, that libreElec has no ACL-support for nfs.

Don't know - how can I change configuration of kernel in libreElec?

CoreElec seems to introduce such changes via conf-files, which is not bad

Buildsystem of libreElec seems to be bit different ...
