Unable to compile with libatomic enabled

I'm trying to compile LibreELEC with the fbcp-ili9341 driver which requires libatomic, but LibreELEC doesn't seem to have libatomic enabled by default, so i went to packages/lang/gcc/package.mk and changed --disable-libatomic to --enable-libatomic which causes gcc building to fail with the following output: 75.log.zip
