Seeedstudio Eagleye 530s - What can I use?

    Hi Community,

    I got this Eagleye 530s IOT device for free. It was for a project that never was realized and now it is useless. This thing is quite powerful.

    DRAM 1GB DDR3

    As often, Samsung shut down their Artik Cloud stuff and so there is no bright future for this device. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS is installed, I can access it through putty and connect wifi.
    It could be a good KODI device, but I have no clue how to start. I only used Raspberrys with SDCard images till now.

    Has someone experience with this or similar boards and give me a hint?

    I'll summarise that i've never even heard of it and i'm as close as the project curently gets to a Samsung maintainer (the Exynos image for XU4 devices which is broken for 4+ months due to my work/life busy and deliberate neglect). So there is no LE image for this board and I doubt you can create one since mainline Linux kernel support for Samsung hardware isn't so great (boot = maybe, hardware video decoding in Kodi = forget it). Stick to RPI :)
