I use iptv and heard that kodi does not support dvb subtitles? Is it so?

How do i know if it is dvb or teletex on channels? Because there is no subs on Swedish channels. Like Viasat movie channels or cmore.

Swedish sdtv has teletext and hdtv has dvb subs.
Use Tvheadend as backend and you get subs on all channels in Kodi -
What is tvheadend?

That sounds great but my iptv is on openelec and there i can find tvheadend power and recording manager.
