Hi all,
I have LibreELEC and Kodi installed on a Rpie 3.
When I go to connections to select Wifi, there is no entry at all in this dialog.
Ethernet works great though.
How can I activate Wifi or why is it not appearing?
cheers,
oger

What version of LE ?
Try with Bluetooth enabled.
What version of LE ?
Hi, sorry, it took so long to check.
LE 9.2.6
Can not enable Bluetooth. It says Bluetooth not available.
What puzzles me is, that it says RPi2.arm
But I'm sure RPi 3
Hardware it says: BCM2835
total memory 747mb
cpu speed 600 mhz
on the board it says pi 3 model B version 1.2
Something is fishy with your wireless chip (no WiFi, no Bluetooth, wrong hardware detected). Test with Raspbian now. If you don't get wireless options on Raspbian, too, buy a new RPi.

I made another SD card with raspberry os.
I also updated the firmware of the Pi.
On the top menue I can not select Wifi. I says no wireless devices found.
Is there a diagnostics tool I can install that checks the pie for errors?

I don't know such tool, and I don't think it exists. It's pretty obvious that the chip is dead.
If you don't want to buy a new RPi, you could attach a WiFi dongle. Unfortunately USB WiFi drivers are a game of luck for RPi. That's why we don't give a buyer suggestion for such hardware.
If you can accept 2.4GHz WiFi, then I suggest to buy a WiFi-over-Ethernet adapter. They only have 2.4GHz, but the Ethernet driver avoids any issues on RPi.
