Serial console is disabled after reached Kodi mediaCenter on AllWinner H3 board?

Hi,

I am new for LibreElec. Just built and run 9.2 release on AllWinner H3 board. It looks like the serial console through UART being disabled by Kodi.

[ OK ] Started Kodi Media Center.

[ OK ] Reached target Kodi Mediacenter Interface.

After this line, no prompt for login as usual. The extlinux.conf:

APPEND boot=UUID=0502-0157 disk=UUID=bf74aa5d-6cbd-4a8c-8366-5203d7b732c7 console=tty1 console=ttyS0,115200

Anybody know what happens?

add "systemd.debug_shell=ttyS0" to the APPEND line

That is not something you want to use.

chewitt thank you for help. I tried your suggestion, but still the same.

APPEND boot=UUID=0502-0157 disk=UUID=bf74aa5d-6cbd-4a8c-8366-5203d7b732c7 console=ttyS0,115200 systemd.debug_shell=ttyS0

I did some research about systemd to find how does it start a login shell at the end. No result yet. Do you have any idea?

This line work now:

APPEND boot=UUID=0502-0157 disk=UUID=bf74aa5d-6cbd-4a8c-8366-5203d7b732c7 systemd.log_level=debug systemd.log_target=console console=ttyS0,115200 systemd.debug-shell=1

Get debug message without login (root).

I tested systemd.debug_shell=ttyS0 with latest master and it works. Maybe something changed in between.
