For my MI Plus box there are 2 big problems with sound:
1. software sound mixing doesn't work correctly: if choose 5.1 mixing the central (voice) channel is missing (surround speakers are working). If choose 2.0 mixing all channels are mixing fine (but only in 2 channels!).
2. Passthrow doesn't work.
So, I can't listen the soundtrack on my reciever in proper fool channel mode. Works correctly only 2.0 mode.
In stock firmware it worked!
Can anybody help me a hint?

2. beelink MINIMXIII II.
Someone has been using these devices and can give an feedback on it?. What about hdr it's work well (no problem with contrast level)?.
Which one would you recommend?
I using a wired network connection, so no worries about WiFi.

Apparently, there is better support for Mini M8S II hardware...
Judging from others sources, none of s905x boxes do HDR well, as I described above... It does some conversion but the result is wrong...most likely an amlogic SDK problem

I'm using a Mini M8S II (see my signature), and everything works :
- 24p working flawlessly (using x264 / 8/10 bits x265)
- optical / HDMI passthrough
- IR receiver is very good, I don't have to point my Logitech Harmony directly to it
The only minor issue is the suspend mode : if I wake up the device after a few seconds, it works.
But I can't wake it up after a few hours.

No... It doesn't matter, be it on or off (the results are different) both ways are wrong...if it's on, picture is washed out and pale overall, when it's on, the picture has more contrast but blacks are elevated...

I tried, your 009 version of LE, and I used this gxl_p212_2g.dtb (rename dtb.img). I found system/etc the remote.conf file and copy to the card root and LIBREELEC > Configfiles folder.
The remote still not working. Under andorid working perfectly.
Could you give me any advice? Here is the remote.conf file, could you check it?

kszaq Thank you for your fantastic work! It seems that this build gives me problems with playing HD content. When the resolution > SD, scaling doesn't seem to work. Every HD stream/file I play looks like it's zoomed in. I do have the correct DTB (checked twice and installed via dd if=dtb.img of=/dev/dtb bs=265k). Could this be related to the 4k scaling patches in the most recent changelog, or did I miss anything?

I've moved my portable usb DVD drive from rPi 3 to A95x (s905). At rPi i had play dvd in main menu, but a95x does not show it up. lsusb shows that device was discovered but no automount was executed.
Any solution to this problem?
I need help with enabling wifi chip on my Beelink Mini mxIII II...I read above that some of you have been successful, but I myself can't get it to work...I installed the latest LE build from the first post that is supposed to have some experimental Aigale support, I created autostart.sh in Configfiles via samba (also did ssh to confirm, Configfiles seems to be the same directory as .config), pasted the lines from the first post, rebooted, but wifi and bluetooth are still unavailable...can anyone please give some quick step-by-step? Also I understand that I don't need any specific device tree files for s905x, right?
Also, can anything be done with the wrong HDR to SDR conversion (blacks are elevated - gray, and gamma is crushed) and BT.2020 to rec.709 conversion? there is a "deep color" option in Android 6.0 display settings that enables bt.2020 support but only as HDMI metadata for the UHD TV to render it properly, it does no colorspace conversion for non-UHD TVs, but something like that would be welcome in LE if at al possible...these are 4K boxes after all

Im having the exact same problem. I created the autostart.sh file. With file ending in .sh NOT .txt or .py and placed it in the .configs folder. rebooted and cant see my wifi. Any help is appreciated.

Remember that these drivers are experimental and I don't have device to test. Also I don't think that Bluetooth will work.

Apparently the file is not correct for the remote you have. You may want to look for other files with remote in the beginning and conf at the end, like remotesecond.conf. Rename in to remote.conf, copy to Config folder and reboot.

Using GPL code to create your own project is not stealing and everybody is free to do it as long as they share source code after modifications.

It might be scaling issues and you missed posting logs. 
I find only remotecfg in system/bin nothing else.

Also i see that aml_grabber for hyperion does not work good. There is a lot of errors in log. At current state rPi 3 is better machine for complex setup

Did you create the file using a Windows editor, with the Samba share ?
If so, can you login with a SSH client, and issue a "dos2unix /storage/.config/autostart.sh" ?

ooops, I just did what you suggested and I got wireless working after reboot!!! I guess execute permission was not set far all users?
I only needed to dectivate then re-activate to show available wifi networks! Bluetooth sadly not working...yet

P.S. kszaq: I suppose we can't get the manual for available am_vecm parameters and what they do exactly? One would need to aquire amlogic's SDK?
