I'm interested in the RockPro64 for various reasons but as hard as I've tried I can't figure out where the rockchip development is at present. Mainly I co0ncerned about HEVC decoding, 4K, audio pass through etc. It's very difficult to figure out what issues have been addressed. I mean is the OS ready for day to day usage by myself and novices?

There were some updates pushed recently to LE master recently which consits of serveral functional additions for RK3399:
- up to 4K@60Hz HDMI
- Hi10p (H264 10bit) decoding
- HEVC/VP9 decoding (WIP!: There are still some HW related issues especially on RK3399 and also not all streams/videos are decoded correctly)
