can you unplug it, reboot
then after reboot wait a bit and plug it in again
then dmesg | paste
maybe we get an idea whats happening
On every driver package or is that unnecessary which one?
Ok so tested it for comparison reason with to devices, Pi3 (Libreelec 9.2.6 /standard drivers) and cubibox (Libreelec 8.2.5 /standard divers)
Turn both on, removed USB Tuner, reboot, wait half - 1min then log.
Only the pi3 turned black completely first try pluged back the USB. Second try all fine
Pi3
Cubi
BTW I have also a terratec cinergy s2 usb hd what gets recognized in both devices but can't get any signal/mux in tvheadend, that's why I bought this Haupage TV tuner
patch required to support for 2040:d900 device
first thx and second can u someone tell me the command for apply the patch?
I know wget then adress but then? Because apt-get is disabled in libreelec
Ok recognized that I haven't done patching in this case. So it would be awesome if someone can tell me a how to or where I get a how to because I can't find one.
hmm the patch looks nice and this should be working with LE10, but currently the RPi3 is only VERY limited supported at current nightly builds
its not too trivial to self build a updated LE9.2 with that patch
I have a look if I can run it in the evening (pls pm me if I forget it)
LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.2-Haupage-WinTv-Nova.img.gz
manual adjusted the patch, no idea if it works so better make a backup
OK thx my friend for all the work. I will test it and let u know.
BTW but what happens when I update later to a new libreelec version? That the patch is gone right?
So maybe it would be a good step to implement the patches in the new version or as a separate driver update patch, so others can benefit also.
That the patch is gone right?
yes
So maybe it would be a good step to implement the patches in the new version or as a separate driver update patch, so others can benefit also.
the patch is later at LE10, RPi0-3 are like need to stay a bit longer at LE9.2 due the major driver shift of the Raspberry
so the drivers get implemented in le 10, first the rp4 release. So I can switch with no worries the tuner on the rp4 when le10 is out?
Edit: Tested it today and runs perfect without any problems. Thx for the help.

Yes, the drivers are at least at the dedicated driver addon avaible or via patch.
k Sounds good, much appreciated
Tested the beta 2 build for rpi4 tonight, but recognized that my tuner not showing up.
So im right that the new drivers not implemented yet? Or is their another problem?
So im right that the new drivers not implemented yet?
We have no additional dvb drivers for RPi yet because they are creating general problems at these platforms.
The adapter should work at generic at least + the dvb-latest drivers from the dvb driver addon.
We have no fix yet for it, it mainly depends if they can fix media_build for those platforms (RPi, AW, RK, AML).
Thx for response.
OK then I test it with the driver add on, to give feedback. I already looked for a dvb driver add on, but could not find one in the repos. Maybe I'm just overlooked or blind xd.
OK so checked all repos and their is no plugin for dvb drivers. Also like on le9 the pre installed dvb driver add on is not their.
Just to give an update
their is no plugin for dvb drivers.
its just there for Generic image (PC. Notebooks ...)
I create a image for you with a patch maybe it helps (no idea if the patch builds).
Should be finished tomorrow.
umrotzer have a look if this works for RPi4 (LE10)
