Hi all,
I just want to report what seems to be a glitch in the most recent version LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.6.img.gz
I copied that file on a fresh MicroSD with the LibreELEC USB-SD Creator and installed it on a RasPi 4B. At first, it seemed to work (could access Media and install addons, device could be reached by ping).
*However:* I couldn't access the machine with SSH. Checked the obvious mistakes (SSH ist activated, got a static IP, did a fresh install, ...) to no avail.
Finally, I put the image of the previous version LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.5.img.gz on the stick. Now everything works as expected.
Did a manual update to version 9.2.6. SSH still works. So the error seems to manifest only in a fresh install.
I read tons of news entries on the issue. One poster suggested, that this can happen if the /storage partition is created in a different format than the usual Ext4, so that file permissions could not be stored properly, which in turn makes SSH terminate. Don't know whether that's the reason here.
Cheers, Andreas
