I'm unable to play 5.1 audio from the rpi4 (last libreelec) by HDMI unless I activate the passthrough option. With passthrough deactivated channels seem to be mixed and front channel dessapears. Due to my variate hardware ( a 70's HI-FI AMP+Speakers for front, a couple autoamplified monitors for rear and another autoamplified speaker for centre) I need to use the volume control of kodi, so passthrough isn't an option for me. I'm sending both audio and video through HDMI to the TV and extracting audio from the TV through optic to a a 5.1 decoder. With passthrough everything is OK. Is it possible that the TV is doing the mess or there is a known issue with that? Will try with a HDMI audio splitter soon. I've been searching for the solution but didn't find anything. Edit. With the PC Kodi happens exactly the same. So it is an issue between kodi and the TV, any Ideas?
