Raspberry Pi 4: one HDMI output for video, one HDMI output for audio

  • Hi,

I am considering buying a Raspberry Pi 4 (2GB version which seems enough) to run LibreElec in order to play my 4K videos from a USB HDD but I have one question and I haven't been to find the answer on this forum.

I would to use one HDMI to output the video to my TV and the second HDMI to output the undecoded audio to my AVR, the AVR will decode the DTS/AC3/TrueHD/DTS-HD streams.

My AVR is a bit old now, it only supports HDMI 1.3 and cannot output 4K video but I have no need to change as the audio is still what I need.

Is this configuration possible with LibreElec on a Raspberry 4?

    Thanks for your help. :)
