Hi,
is it necessary to run a new installation after a hardware change?
I will switch from Asrock J4205 to the newer J5005. In fact the CPU is faster and the GPU I a bit newer but same vendor (intel).

I should just work, check your kodi setting, maybe there you need something to adjust (sound, screen resolution ...)
Hi,
most is working. But the audios settings are bad. There is no HDMI Sound output anymore in the select list. Only a not selectable "PulseAudio BT".
Is there a way to force Libreelec / Kodi to reload the audio driver?
Best Regards
Manuel
I have no problems on my J5005. Perhaps some stored settings from the previous setup are still getting in the way.
If you can SSH into your J5005 with LibreELEC, then type:
LibreELEC is an all-in-one package. There is no reloading or installing separate drivers.
Wow, find a solution. I've disabled HD-Audio in BIOS because i don't use the Front-Panel / AC97. But this also disables the HDMI Audio Output. I'm pretty sure, i disabled this also on the old J4205 Board.
Enabled the option and now everything is fine!
Thanks!
