Hey guys, Wanted to start out by saying hi!
Im kinda new to this linux world but do work for an IT firm so i am a certified tech.
I started on OE and realized i was getting no support and they didnt seem active!
So I have an not so old laptop with with a busted screen that im using the HDMI port to my 47" LCD. The install went well but as with
OE, Le seems to only show top left of screen. I have gathered its due to the laptop screen being the primary. I also gathered i need to make a custom xorg.conf file. I did this on OE and it never seemed to read the file or something because it never worked on reboot. My ultimate goal would be to disable the laptop screen and make HDMI primary. Its an Intel core laptop.

I am looking for a little direction. I have done some searching with the LE on this issue now with no real luck and to be honest im pretty burned out thanks to OE.

Wow, ended up after days just now figuring it out! If your in kodi system/video out check box "blank out other screen" and pick hdmi1 for display....boom! Smh nooby!
