problem solved. I copy the missing file libxcb-dri3.so.0 in addons/browser.chrome/lib

Very new to Linux and even newer to Libreelec, but am very impressed so far; I seem to have the same issue, installed the chrome addon (x86 system), checked the config, looks ok, it appears in the addon drop down menu, hi lights but nothing happens whern i click it. Maybe the same issue as AR but not sure how I get out of Kodi and find the missing libxcb etc?

ok thanks. Forgive my ignorance, I'm a real newcomer to this. I've got a copy of the missing file (as a zip) but how and where do I put it!
I can view the installation using windows 7 and the PuTTY programme, both seem to show the 'storage' folder, but I can't see a kodi folder there. Should I be trying to add it from within Kodi?
Again, apologies from an old hardware engineer well out of his deapth!
Is there a link anywhere to an explantion I've missed?

Another step forward; found how to make hidden folder visible on Kodi, and using another explorer WinSCP i can browse the whole Libreelec system from my laptop, but no obvious place to stick this Chrome Addon missing libxcb-dri3.so.0......

you can just install the addon and it should just work again
I try to push an update to our repo soon so it should automatically update.
