Running latest 9.2.1 on RPi4

Hope this is the right place for this topic, so forgive me if it should be moved to a better place.
As you may know, Pulseaudio had for a long time a bug in Bluetooth transmission, due to wrong RTP payload flagging. With Pulse 13.0 this should finally have been resolved (LINK).
If I understand correctly, the latest 9.2.1 should use Pulse 13.0 as per this post (LINK), right?
However - I still don't receive any audio output on devices that honor the payload type standard, while on rather rogue BT speakers (like my JBL boxes) it works seamlessly - as those just ignore the wrong RTP payload flag.
Does anybody in this community have a good idea to help?
