Some questions from an old OpenELEC user

I hope someone can help me with answers to these questions that I have, during my future switch to LE from OE.

1. I know there are differences with LE and OE regarding repositories and add-ons, but I used some add-on in OE I do not want to be without. What about support for:

• ProFTPd (unofficial-addons/addons/service/system/proftpd at master · OpenELEC/unofficial-addons · GitHub)
• Transmission (unofficial-addons/addons/service/downloadmanager/transmission at master · OpenELEC/unofficial-addons · GitHub) (I found this thread, LibreELEC but still wonder about the future..)

• boblightd

I think there will be more questions about this, but I hope someone will try to help me...

Yeah, mc still works for me from the old add-on, and the same for boblightd.
Transmission works with the trick from LibreELEC
"My own" compiled addon for "Automatic" also works great.

Let see if I can get proftpd working to...

4. I've started to look in to Hyperion.
Do you use the Hyperion service for LibreELEC and the Kodi addon from the Hyperion site, or only the service?

I can get it to "work" if using the Kodi addon too, but not with just the service.

I understand that it should work with only the service itself, and not like BobLight, that hade to use both the daemon (service) AND a addon for the grabber.

Can you please give me some more information?
