Pixellated HDMI output Pi4

Hi All

I have a strange issue with pixellated / very low resoultion output on my Pi4.

Never seen anything like this before, and its present after a reboot of LibreElec, and I can only clear it by disconnecting the power.

I have tried to create a log, but can't see the short URL due to the issue.

If you haven't activated logging yet, then you can do so by creating /storage/.kodi/userdata/advancedsettings.xml:

    <loglevel>2</loglevel>  
</advancedsettings>

If you can't get the URL, then shutdown LE, remove the microSD card and manually copy kodi.log by using a PC with microSD card reader.

PS: Use the default skin for all further tests!

Thanks, I've added the xml file, is the logfile the one in /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log?

Yes.

And next time, just use loglevel 1 instead, so you won't have the OSD debug stuff on your screen.

OSD could be part of the problem, because it looks like EGL doesn't scales OSD right.

Ok, possibly another piece of the puzzle.

I can't replicate the issue at the moment as I now seem to be having issues with the HDMI CEC, It was set to put my devices into standby, which it did (amp and TV) when the screensaver activated.

The resolution issue occurred when the TV and amp came back on, but now neither are switching off when the screensaver activates.

Settings are as they should be in the CEC section of Kodi. Will tinker a bit and see if I can get the amp and TV to go into standby as they were doing this morning.

You're still using a custom skin, but it's important to use the default skin to avoid any EGL scaling errors.
