Is it possible to reuse SD card from Raspberry Pi 3 A+ in Raspberry Pi 4

I have version 9.2 running in a Raspberry Pi 3 A+ and just ordered a 4. Is it possible to just unplug the SD card and plug it in the new Pi instead of doing the installation from scratch? This will save me a ton of time. Thanks

No, not everything is identical between those two. Certainly not the system files.

There are several ways to backup an existing Kodi install en restore to different system.

None is failsafe, depending on how much and which addons etc you use.

So maybe try that first? Reinstalling can wait.
