LibreELEC + Rpi3b + hdmi capture card + PS4

    Hi everyone,

    I love kodi, libreelec and the possibilities of having every media source accessible through kodi.

    Now I wondered if it wold be possible to capture my PS4 with a capture card and basically tunnel it through kodi as another menu entry so I dont have to switch hdmi signals? :/

    Did anyone else try this and has experience to share? :)

    You can't pass-through A/V signals on RPi, but you could trigger an HDMI relay when the RPi turns on.

    If your RPi is always on, you could write a script to trigger the relay by RC.

    PS: I know that so called "sharing switches" exist for USB. They automatically switch to the active source. Maybe switches like this exist for HDMI, too.
