video does not play when selecting chapters or after fast-foreward/rewind

I play movies in ISO and m2ts format from a large USB flash drive.

I can watch them just fine until I use the bookmarks to jump to a chapter or use fast-forward/rewind to seek a particular playback point.

Sometimes sound will play from the appropriate playback point after a fast-forward or chapter jump (sometimes not). Video playback never resumes, instead showing a black screen.

This issue means I can't resume watching a movie if there is any interruption, I can only start over watching from the beginning.

I have tried enabling and disabling hardware acceleration in the Player settings. This setting seemingly has no effect.

I am using LibreELEC 9.2 on a Rasberry Pi 4b

Resolution is 720p.

I am new to Kodi and Pi so not certain how other formats respond. I will do some tests to find out.

Interestingly I discovered that Media Player Classic has the same resume issue when I play these .m2ts files on my Windows PC. Sound but no picture. Windows Media Player and VLC do not have the issue. They can seek and resume these files just fine.

.mp4 and .mkv files seem to seek and resume as you would expect. It is only .m2ts containers that are giving me this issue.
