Maybe this will be of help for someone. I've ran into wifi issue, that some of have had, with R4 being unable to connect or stay connected to my home wifi, while at work it was just dandy. Input/output error, invalid arguments etc. Took me a long while, but this is what fixed it for me: set the channel to 10 in your router. Three days later, system stable, reboots without flaws, stays connected. Hope this helps.
