Ok following problem: My PC is connected to a WLAN-Router (Speedport) for Internet and it’s also conntected to my Raspberry (Libreelec) via LAN (using a Fritz.Box Router that is not connected to the Internet for better streaming performance). On my PC everything is working fine – Connecting to the Raspberry via LAN is also working fine. I want to connect my Raspberry to the same WLAN-Router my PC is for Internet. The connection to the WLAN Router seems to work fine – I can see the RPi connected to the WLAN-Router in the Routers settings and i can use my mobile to remote control over WLAN too (Yatse) but it seems like the RPi won’t get connected to the Internet. If I unplug the LAN on my RPi the Internet via WLAN works just fine. Anyone got an Idea?

OpenELEC Mediacenter - OpenELEC Forum - WLAN is ignored, if LAN port is connected (1/1) should be the same on LE.Thanks tois looks like a solution but when streaming will it use the wlan connection or the lan? Since both the PC and Rpi are connected to both Networks

You shouldn't have 2 interfaces in the same network. So for example if the WLAN connection is using 192.168.1.X use 192.168.2.x for the LAN connection. Then use IP addresses instead of host names.

Yeah thats what im already doing. But Rpi and PC are connected to the same Router via wlan and connected to another Router via lan. So basically can access my upnp on my PC from both lan and wlan. Which source will it choose from to stream?

The times that I have experimented with 2 adapters on one machine I found that even though they both showed as connected only the ethernet was being used. The computer chooses the best connection.

Try planning your network better. Internet device <--> router <-->pcs and rpi
