I have the same problem like here
Only on Odroid C2 and the workaround for RPi didn't work for me.
I used libreelec 8.2.5 without problems and everything works. My Odroid was always on and I only shut off the TV. When I started the TV again libreelec was directly on TV.
Now I upgradet to 9.0.2 and it doesn't work anymore. Now I have to reboot everytime the Odroid after I started the TV. If Odroid starts after the TV has bootet, then everthings works again
I think it RPi and Odroid shouldn't be so different. I hope you can help me.
