Libreelec on RPI3+ hdd install only

Hello,

I have install Libreelec on Raspberry Pi 3B+, on a SD Card, it work find. No problem.

For more space, I would like to install Libreelec on a hard drive. RPIB+ can boot on a USB HDD, I test it on Raspbian, I have do a NAS.

Is libreelec can be install on a 100% hard drive support for a raspberry 3B+ ?

I try to put the iùage on the hard drive but the RPI don't boot on it.

The RPi3B+ will boot off a HDD - however, the HDD will need to have a separate PSU,

Do you get any error messages?

Some HDDs have low power draw and can be connected directly to a Raspberry Pi. For a example I directly connected a Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB Portable External Hard Drive to build a PVR. See Build a Cheap PVR using Raspberry Pi 3, LibreELEC, Kodi, Tvheadend, & HDHomeRun. Note that I haven't tried to boot from the HDD.
