Let tv Upscale video

    Hello,

    I was wondering if we could let the TV upscale a video instead of kodi :
    If I select uhd definition in the video settings all video will be upscaled in uhd by default. Ex a 720p video will be upscaled, the signal detect by TV will be uhd.

    Is it possible to let the TV do the upscale ( send 720p signal and let the TV do the job?) I think TV will do it better no?

    Yes but if I do that my 1080p video will be downscale to 720p by kodi...
    I just want kodi to send 1080p signal wen 1080p video are playing, 720p signal for 720p videos....
    Without caring about kodi's UI resolution.

    But probably not possible .
