While I was out shopping at my local Micro Center, I stumbled across the Asus TinkerBoard S and bought it on a whim. The Android build provided by Asus works well enough with Kodi, but lacks certain features (like NTFS and exFAT support) that are crucial for using the thing for actual media playback beyond simple testing. So LibreELEC looks like my best option, however I've noticed that it's not officially supported in the main downloader, and is only available as an Alpha image. How reliable is that image? Am I better off setting up a server and streaming off a DNLA share in Android, or is the alpha build good enough to be worth using?
Also, can anybody recommend a good Tinkerboard case? The Pi case that I picked up at the store with the board has lousy airflow and has the CPU running at temperatures I've not seen since the Pentium 4...
