Kodi 18.1 Intel generic repeatedly crashing

Hi all,

Approximately 1 week ago I upgraded to 18.1 which appeared to go perfectly. Initially the system was randomly crashing. Tonight it has continually crashed while watching TV.

TV is streamed from my headless Ubuntu server that runs TvHeadend.

TvShows and Movies are shared from the server and the databases are the HeidiSql DB is also on the server.

After several crashes tonight LibreElec came up with a red background after detecting repeated crashes. I uploaded the crash file to http://ix.io/1dty

Also attached is the zip from from the Samba share.

I did do an upgrade to all packages on the Ubuntu server last week as well but that should not be causing the client to crash.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had a look at your log file. Please check your storage device "sr0". It has I/O errors:

Thanks Da Flex,

I will run a file system check over the disk, but whatever the issue, it is now not crashing.

It may be time to move onto a small Android box.
