If there is one stable Kodi device out there, then it's a Raspberry Pi.
So either your Rpi 3 has a hardware malfunction or your SD card has some bit rot on it. Try a different sd card first.

What can I say? If there truely was a problem with our RPi 3 download, we would have been notified by now by many more people.

I enable screen log, did not do anything, and look memory leak very fast from 550 kb to 215 kb and freeze and crash Kodi.

Both 8.5 and 9.0 have memory leak problem. Kodi leaks memory continuously.
Find attached the output from the top command. The filtered version shows the memory usage of kodi.bin when running. The memory consumption keeps increasing, In my Raspberry Pi 3 system, over a day almost 15% of the available system memory is gone.
