ok guys might sound stupid but I have libreelec 8 and when I launch chromium and go to say YouTube it is at max volume, how do I turn it down?

Why would you want to do that ? How do you normally control the volume ?

I use the volume keys on my keyboard which work fine with kodi but i want to watch Netflix on chromium but the volume is literally 100% so I just wanna know how to adjust volume

So the volume keys on your keyboard don't work when watching Netflix on Chromium ?
As far as I know, the "volume" sliders on both YouTube and Netflix are actually gain controls and can be left at max all the time. You should be able to control the volume the way you normally do for all of Kodi.
You never mentioned your hardware by the way.
