All other wifi networks are detected, only my router's isn't. It's a LTE modem but I don't see why that would matter.
It works over ethernet.
I can connect wifi with Recalbox on the same hardware. So maybe a missing driver ?
Thanks for reading!

In general: if you can setup your Kodi device with ethernet, always do. It's much snappier and faster than any wifi connect.
Didn't know Huawei made routers as well... ![]()
Also, if you can connect via wifi to a different device, more drivers are not necessary. The Wifi basics are working.
Hey, thanks for the answer.
I prefer ethernet when I can, but in this case I can't. I tried it for troubleshooting only.
Router works
Pi wifi works
but pi won't see router. So strange.
what wifi channels is the router using?
Sorry I left the raspberry on a shelf for a while.
I'm back at it.
Interesting thing, I'm trying to activate wifi on "plex media player" which is an os based on ... openelec. Guess what: wifi not recognized either.
Wifi works in bootberry and raspbian.
edit: oooh so channel 13 is not used in the US so maybe it's deactivated.
Good guess!
Now I need to figure how to change the location in plex...
Thank you!
I'll do this for Plex, and for Libreelec I installed the stable version which works fine (it was easier to install the alpha on bootberry at the time)
edit: upon checking it's more likely because my router is automatically on channel 6 now, so I still might have to change the location
