Kodi 18 not working S905X(?)

Hey Guys,

i just received my android tv box. ( X96 17.1 4K Internet TV Box S905X Android 6.0 2G+16G Octa Core Media Player | eBay )

I got LibreElec 8.2.2.1 getting booted, but when I want to boot the test versions of LibreElec I always just get the bootscreen "S905X".

CoreElec does not work too.

Any ideas?

I am not sure that Libreelec can be updated to Coreelec.

I assume you have got Libreelec 8.2.2.1 running from a usb or sd card?

So, if I were you, I would do a fresh install of Coreelec on a different usb or sd, bear in mind, this might mean your remote will no longer work.You cannot use remote.conf on these builds, there is a totally different way to get the remote working.
