Libreelec 8.2.5 RPI 3B+ static Ip issue

    Hello to all,

    i have a issue with libreelec 8.2.5 and raspberry pi 3B+ .

    it allows to set static ip only when wired connection is established and looses ip settings when disconnected. when i reconnect - its changes to dhcp again .

    the main issue for me is that my RPI will be connected to cisco switch and it is possible that lan connection will fail at some time due to electric issues and i'm afraid that after loss of lan- ip settings will be reset and i will loose a device from my network.

    i do not have this issue with RPI 3B and libreelec 8.2.1

    It's a bit of a weird problem. Personally I would also program my router to fixate IP addresses per MAC address, so you won't have to fiddle with each connected network device.

    As v8.2.5 is very likely to be the final release of the Krypton builds, I suggest you test thelatest Milhouse Leia Alpha build, and see if things are any different in the static IP department.
