Movies keep disappearing on RPi3

  • I have a strange issue with movies disappearing from library on my RPi 3 running LE.

I've got two RPis at home: RPi B and RPi 3. Same setup for both, same video sources are used. On RPi 3 movies keep disappearing frm library. Refreshing library does not help. What I need to d every time is:

    1. Remove the content type and set it to none

    2. Library is cleaned

    3. Set the content type for a folder again, I use local data only as I scrap everything using my PC

    4. Refresh the library

Movies are back again, however, some of them are sometimes missing.

Do you know what might be the issue?

So the Clean Library is started automatically? Because the only reason why videos would 'disappear' is during a Clean Library while having a problem connecting to your NAS or other sources, as far as I can see.

  • Yes, Autoupdater updates my library every day. Even if I trigger it manually, movies are not added. Folders are browseable through Videos file explorer without issues, so NAS is responding properly.
