Help- Cant power-on by ir remote on Le Potato (s905X)

I loaded Libreelec and configured the ir remote, all works well in Libreelec however when the system is powered off I am not able to power-on the system using the ir remote.

Can anyone assist it how i could go about configuring the ir receiver to power on the system?

The hardware I am using is Le Potato

The software it is running is Libreelec 8.2.3.1

If the Le Potato is anything like the RPi, once it is powered off - it is totally powered off. Only a hard power reset will reboot it.

The bootloader of your device does not contain a Suspend FW. Use the Branch libretech-cc or Amlogic and compile the uboot with the appropriate remote code. Replace the uboot binary.

this helped me on a tv box S905W with libreelec

put the remote file into the bootable libreelec sd card you have made with win32

and then select one of these remote files

put the remote file with the rest of your boot files on the sd card and try to boot the potato

i dont know if you can short pin a le potato?

on my S905W remote file 1 it worked but maybe you have to try more files never had problems with S905X
