LibreELEC and Maverick D2 DAC - compatible?

I am looking to purchase an external DAC for my RPi/LibreELEC HTPC box. The DAC I am interested in is Maverick D2. Anybody running it with LibreELEC and could provide information if it is compatible out of the box or needs special setup?

From a Linux/Kodi perspective it's just a USB soundcard, so it's unlikely to be complicated.
