How to install addons from github repo?

Maybe a stupid question, I want to have some linux tools which are not present in 8.2.3.1 (s905.arm) and I found what I need at LibreELEC.tv/package.mk at 3192ddf3b13c4c2fa122884af7fd2d8ebaf6a037 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub , but I failed to find how do you actually install addons manually that you need. Is there a guide for this?

Maybe better question, in web gui I don't see any addon in Addon-on, but on Add-ons [LibreELEC.wiki] there should be many addons available for install. Is this just web gui bug? Not near device itself atm.

So I was able to found what I needed from addons over remote control, still unsure why I can't see them inside webGUI.

I am not aware that it is possible to install addons otherwise than through Kodi user interface, ie with the remote.

htop comes with the System Tools addon, which is a collection of programs which do not interface with Kodi. To use htop, ssh into LibreELEC and type htop.
