I've written an add-on that issues a xbmc.builtin(CECStandby), and I can see that the command runs with the log showing a message that says "putting CEC device on standby..." but nothing happens to my Samsung TV.
I can use the remote no problem and I can pipe stuff into the cec-client exec on the command line which causes the TV to go off/on (and then the TV seems to lose the CEC connection so this isn't ideal).
Is this expected to work in this way? Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? My google-fu is not finding anything. Or am I posting up a log next? Thanks for any help
