TVHeadend can not play H265 encoding in IPTV system...

Greetings,

I added the IPTV Stream to the TVHeadend system, but the stream was encoded with the HEVC (H265) function. TVHeadend can not play H265 encoding in IPTV system.

There is no problem with latent H264 encoding.

How can we fix this?

Or is this a bug?

where did you try to play it ? at kodi ?

if so you need an device that can actually handle HEVC, UHD for example is no problem with Tvheadend

LibreELEC 8.2.

WeTek Play 2 and Mecool K1 Pro.

There is no problem with 4K (HEVC) broadcasts on normal DVB-S.

did you tried an Tvheadend 4.3 yet ?

sounds like an issue at Tvh that is maybe already fixed
